Project Manager 

A regional main contractor delivering building and energy projects across the UK is seeking a freelance Project Manager to manage a standalone energy centre project. The role is fully site-based and focuses on project delivery and client liaison rather than MEP design.
The project involves a small warehouse-type building housing industrial-grade ground source heat pumps. A specialist MEP subcontractor is on site, so the focus is on construction management and coordination of site activities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
•    Manage day-to-day project delivery and ensure works are on programme, within budget, and to quality standards
•    Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and labour on site
•    Act as the primary point of contact for the client and consultant teams
•    Monitor progress and escalate issues, risks, or required programme changes
•    Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements
•    Maintain project records, reports, and handover documentation

Day Rate 
•    £400–£450 per day
•    Fully expensed travel and subsistence where required
•    Flexible start date, immediate availability preferred
•    Short-term freelance opportunity (~18 months, with potential follow-on regional projects)

Duration: Full project lifecycle (~18 months)
